While I continually learn to discern just what I am
sensing
as I provide the members of my practice with the special care that helps
each of them to reconnect to their inner healing Source, I am also learning to more fully appreciate the subtleties of our Life force and just how delicate is the balance of Life.
God gives Man:
Intellect for growth and success as a living
being
Choice to help provide freedom in
decision-making,
along with responsibility for same
Ability to accomplish almost any goal
Why is it that Man chooses
to use his intelligence and gifts
to frequently degrade himself,
along with his environment??
Even though we as a species may have to resist our genetics and socialized conditioning as we live our lives in the grand Scheme of the Universe, may we choose to strive toward
our own personal healing and toward that of our Planet.
"All creatures on earth feel like we feel,
endeavor for
happiness like we do.
They love, suffer and die like we do.
All beings in distress have equal rights for protection.
"Not to cause our humble brothers pain
is our commitment to the animals.
But to stop there is not enough.
We have a higher mission to serve them
whenever they need us."
– St. Francis

As a youngster,
Jacques Cousteau
was (and and still is) one of my super heroes. This wise gentleman put his heart and soul in his work and research,
and a most significant concern of his was the health and welfare of the various life forms living and surviving in
our world's seas. Dr. Cousteau highly valued the mammals of our oceans.
Besides a passion for dolphins, porpoises, and whales, I have long felt a strong attachment to baby harp seals.
The following link will show a gruesome side to their existence. The following link, provided by www.youtube.com, is not for the weak of heart. Paul McCartney, for years, has been supporting efforts to control the slaughter of these precious pups.
“The most important thing is to actually think about
what you do.
To become aware and actually think about the effect of what you do on the environment and on society.....
My mission is to create a world where we can live in harmony with nature.
That's is the key, and that underlies everything else.
"I just have this absolute belief that humans are
moving away from cruelty and destruction towards a time when we truly live in harmony with nature;
when we understand that there is a spiritual power around us from which
we can draw strength.
That is where I believe human destiny ultimately is taking us.
I just hope we have time.
