Dear Joe, I am a recent graduate of Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic and a certified Network Chiropractor. I was wondering if you expand upon the things "you have learned" in lay lecture to your clients? I was also wondering if your marriage of Network and CST has lead to clients experiencing more permanent/restorative results than temporary/ stimulative? In the past I have had totally incredible experiences in Network that were no more than temp/stim. Dear Dr. Clifford and Family: Personally, my thoughts are as follows: Of course CST is fantastic and its incorporation into Network Chiropractic is a given... However, I must offer a personal observation. While I certainly do understand that at times the 'work' (play as we liked to say) is so very important, I think the abilities of the Doctor and his support staff, whether they be friends or family should not in any way be discounted. They are as crucial an element as the parameters of the work. Bottom line to this rambling, Dr. Clifford and family have as much right to claim credit for the healing that occurs as does Network Chiropractic. Last night I was one of 6 people in a crainosacral study group. At one point time stood still and I was simultaneously overwhelmed with joy and humbled as I wondered how and why I was in this room with 5 people I didn't know and why I felt so connected. Lovely site! I was looking at cst for a good explanation of how I got my digestive system fixed up so handily and came across this. Lay Person suits me fine. After having open heart surgery, I was told it was due to artiosclerosis. Six bypasses even though I'm in physical shape, I eat right (low fat & low colesterol), don't smoke & don't drink as a habit. It's my mind - "Class A" type, too much mental noise. I've taken a new path, meditation, reading books by Dan Millman "Way of the Peaceful Warrior". Since I've been on this path I seem to be drawn to enlightened souls such as yours and of those reading this. I've felt you all and that of nature. It's very comforting. I found some materials indicating that CST can be used for treatment of nonsynostotic plagiocephaly and brachycephaly. I am routinely fabricating selfsuspending helmets for infants to treat abnormal head shape, but am intensively looking for alternative treatments. Can CST help, if yes - how much and in what cases,nnad where can I find a trained practitioner in Tennessee? A lot of patients' parents overreact on the head shape issue and children spend months in helmets for very minor deformities. Will appreciate your input. Thank you, Igor

Thanks to my chiropractor, Dr. Ardaman Singh, and my naturopath, Dr. Carolen Koleszar, I am living a healthy if somewhat stressed (grad school, work, kids) life. I suffered from "military neck" after an auto accident in 1973, after which I entered chiropractic care. I met Dr. Singh in 1989. He was the first doctor to get me to "maintenance care." Nothing really healed my neck until Dr. Singh became a practitioner of NSA. I finally have full ROM in my neck, it is finally soft and flexible, and I am finally relieved from neck pain. I have struggled with Graves Disease for the past 3 years. I trusted the treatments of Dr. Singh and Dr. Koleszar, and refused allopathic treatment for this disease. I am still under care, however, my thyroid levels are now normal under care, and I have not gained the large amounts of weight, unlike everyone I know who is taking PTU. I have/had an allergy to all penicillins. After one of Dr. Singh's treatments, my body dumped stored penicillin from childhood through my urine for over one full day. My skin cleared significantly after that. Finally, I had a very abusive childhood. Under treatment by NSA, I had a profound retracing of this abuse wherein I woke up the morning after my treatment covered with bruises. Throughout the day, I felt I had poles being pulled slowly from me at each one of the bruises. I was sore and bruised for about 4 days total. I stopped having flash-backs of the abuse, and my life is so much happier now. NSA has my vote as an incredible healing force.

Your site is wonderful. Gives great insight. I give spinal therapy sessions where I use ayurvedic oils focussing mainly on the muscles and nerves on the spine. Most of the clients, especially the regular ones, feel relieved and more energetic. Somehow, during my sessions I have received inner guidance and meditate while I work and guess now I feel as revitalised as my clients when I complete the sessions. I do work on the Chakras and nerves as well. I would love to get more information and am also looking for a guru who can train me more on cranio-sacral therapies - it would be great to do it from my home base in Bangkok via the net or if someone is right here, let me know.

After a lifetime with multiple trauma, I finally discovered this therapy a few years ago. It unleashed an amazing healing process that has encompassed all realms: physical, emotional, psychological, and big time spiritual. It has been difficult at times and the process is ongoing, but without these treatments and experiences, I would not be the healing being that I am. Tucson is very blessed with many good practitioners. I am currently a case manager for a 62 year old man with Cerebral Palsy and severe scoliosis which has compromised his pulmonary function (COPD). I am actively seeking a C/S therapist to work with him at his home to reduce the symptoms and help manage his comfort and maintain quality of life as his process progresses. I especially hope to find someone interested in learning about his particular case. If you have any suggestions, I would appreciate your guidance. (Great website!)
