Side notes:

Webster defines catharsis as, “a purifying release of the emotions or of tension by bringing repressed material to consciousness.” Order emerges not in spite of chaos but because of it-- that evolution and growth are the inevitable product of far-from- equilibrium (open) systems.  These systems not only take in energy and matter from the environment, but also dissipate the resulting  entropy  (a measure of the amount of order or chaos in a system) back into the environment.” Nobel Prize-winner Ilya Prigogine, theoretical chemist in Thermodynamics (branch in physics that studies heat and its relationship to other forms of energy, for example, mechanical, electrical, and chemical).

"Dissipative Structures":

Open systems that evolve and grow by taking in energy and matter from their environment and then dissipate the resulting entropy back into the environment. (For e.g., a tree takes in light, carbon dioxide, and water,  and it produces and releases oxygen molecules to the environment) The Universe is not one of individual things, but rather one of process, a changing, flowing, evolving, and intimately interconnected system of interactions. It is not of the flow, it is the Flow! Such systems must interact with their surroundings in order to grow, develop, and maintain their existences.  ~supported independently by quantum mechanical physicists. American Heritage Dictionary defines chaos as: 1.A condition or place of great disorder or confusion. 2.A disorderly mass; a jumble: The desk was a chaos of papers and unopened letters. 3. Often Chaos ,The disordered state of unformed matter and infinite space supposed in some cosmogonic views to have existed before the ordered universe. 4.Mathematics A dynamical system that has a sensitive dependence on its initial conditions. 5.Obsolete An abyss; a chasm. At the bifurcation point, the energetic system either totally disintegrates as an organized system, or it spontaneously  reorganizes itself in an entirely new way.  As Prigogine described, the system "it escapes into a  higher order".

An Introspection:

Possibly the greatest skills one can acquire as a member of a BGI Chiropractic

office is the ability to identify, take responsibility for, and move through the

potential upheaval, which sometimes accompanies

deeper layers of healing. In our terms, we may call

it retracing,  evolutionary catharsis, or healing

crisis, because without some level of it there is no

growth, no expansion of awareness, no evolution.

Accepting BioGeometric care is a  commitment ( a driving force behind each healing process)  to change; some change being easier to transcend than other.  A continuing result of this process is a powerful experience of growth towards one's own perfection; an experience of connectedness, peace, and happiness. Along the way, you may meet aspects of your self (and that of your world) that you knowingly or unknowingly have judged to be inappropriate and have tried to repress. Some of these experiences you may not want to look at, and some you will move through more easily. Your experience, how ever it turns out, is the result of what lies inside of you and will be unique to you. We must be able to search inwardly (consciously and subconsciously) for discrepancies in our bodies' physical and energetic functions. Our physical and mental/emotional expressions are perfect reflections of the function of the central nervous system and other systems which support it. Positive core-level change can bring about retracing experiences, such as: emotional and memory shifts, sleep and dream pattern changes, cold/flu symptoms, achiness, "return" of old pains, and no telling what other healing opportunities.  Releasing of the old, involves letting go of familiar patterns or habitual mental, emotional, and physical patterns operating from the unconscious parts of the mind.  A never  ending result is developing opportunities of seeing (at conscious and organic levels) and experiencing "what is", and a reorganization of the brain into a new and more evolved level -- one that allows greater perception and experience of the infinite number of connections making up more of our  "true self".  Research indicates that suppression and relegation of certain mental and emotional material to the subconscious is a natural result of our dualistic thinking - - of dividing the Universe into that which is "appropriate" and that which is "inappropriate". Mental and emotional resistances to what we define as "bad" or "unacceptable" creates pain, and much energy is expended  in attempting to keep these thoughts and feelings out of our conscious thoughts. In truth, the only way we can grow and evolve is by coming to terms with our "dark side".  Our brain is a miraculous organ. Even though our Universe is an ever expanding system, inevitably tending toward disorder and  chaos, our brain flourishes in unstable, fluctuating environments by being "plastic" enough to adapt to the accelerated variations. As a dissipative structure, the more ordered and complex it becomes, the more entropy it must dissipate in order to maintain its existence. Also, each dissipative system has an upper limit, due to its  level of complexity. If the fluctuations from the environment increase to levels that are higher than that  tolerated by the system, it becomes more entropic, or chaotic. (Is this exciting stuff or what ?!)  Eventually, the chaos is so great that the system instability leads to its breakdown; finally, a point is reached where the slightest nudge or stimulus can bring the whole system to a  standstill.  A surviving system experiences a true quantum  leap, and this new-born system has the capability to handle the levels of fluctuations from the original environment that overwhelmed the old system and lead to its breakdown.  If levels of input (chaos) increase drastically again,  to levels beyond which this system can  tolerate (capacity for dispersion of entropy),  the process will repeat, resulting in new internal chaos, another reorganization, and growth into a further evolved level of development. The human brain is the ultimate dissipative structure,....
.Unfortunately, I have had some folks terminate care, because they did not want to feel what they were feeling.
The Energy of all and everything.
“Chaos” Even though we may define certain situations as of 'chaos', it is my impression that there exists a wisdom or intelligence behind its presence. A reason that we describe a state as being without order or reason is that we don\'t have the skills or insights to perceive far enough into it, thus recognizing an underlying purpose or organization behind its existence.
Prigogine called this point the “bifurcation point”. At this branch in the energetics, a decision is made; this is a “moment of truth”.
Out of chaos, comes a newly evolved system, with new flexibility in responsiveness to its environment. Reorganization takes place: Reordering is non-causal and non-linear with previous events that lead to the breakdown. For more... BioGeometric Integration's Tetrahedrons
WHEN LEARNING A NEW SKILL,TRY THINKING “OUTSIDE THE BOX” OF PREVIOUSLY LEARNED LESSONS….           Ever hear the phrase, "It's just like riding a bike?" As it turns out, riding a bike isn't actually all that easy, as demonstrated within this video.       Take this journey of learning to ride, with an appreciation for the way one’s brain adapts and reconfigures itself (within its neuroplasticity) in the process of learning each skill. I believe that you will thoroughly enjoy this program.
