The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, in their 57th Annual Convention in St. Louis this week, voted (without a single no vote) to call for an end to Mandatory childhood vaccines! This will no doubt be exciting news to the membership of the Association for Network Care.
Dr Jane Orient, MD, and Executive Director stated "Our children face the possibility of death or serious long-term adverse effects from mandated vaccines that aren't necessary, or that have very limited benefits. This resolution only attempts to halt the blanket vaccine mandates by government agencies and school districts that give no consideration for the rights of the parents, or the individual medical condition of the child."
In many states children must have up to 22 shots before first grade, and parents may face being charged with abuse and education neglect; and their children may be taken in custody of the Child Protective Service if they do not comply. Many parents have been able to achieve immunization exemption through the registering of objections due to personal religious beliefs.
The hype of the pharmaceutical industry and its direct influence on Governmental agencies dominate with a religious belief. Legal and cultural sanctions have been in place for those who question or refuse this routine and commonly dangerous procedure. Academia, doctors of various types, and parents are now being joined by AAPS at its historical and courageous stance.
